Sales Representative job

A sales manager typically functions as the head of the sales department to manage organizational sales at various levels. To create strategic plans to extend the sales reach of the organization and execute the plans to grow the customer base.

Responsibilities include:

• Developing plans and strategies for developing business and achieving the company’s sales goals.
• Defining optimal sales force structure and managing hiring to scale the team appropriate to market conditions and opportunities.

Tasks and Duties:

• Day-to-day tasks of a Sales Manager may include:
• Compiling and analyzing sales figures, reporting back to senior management teams.
• Keeping up to date with products and competitors in the industry.
• Understanding customer needs and effectively communicating how products or services can satisfy these needs.
