Tin Ingot QCO 2025 Released | BIS Certification

The Government of India has introduced the Tin Ingot (Quality Control) Order, 2025 to ensure consistent quality, safety, and reliability in tin ingot manufacturing and trade. As per the BIS QCO for Tin Ingot, it is now mandatory for manufacturers and sellers to obtain BIS certification and mark their products with the ISI logo in accordance with IS 26:2024.

This move, enforced under the Tin Ingot QCO 2025, aims to eliminate substandard products, promote fair trade practices, and enhance consumer confidence. The BIS Notification for Tin Ingot clearly states that this order will take effect six months from its publication.
